You have told us that circumcision of male infants is inadvisable. In what ways, and to what extent can boys’ and men’s lives be impaired by being subjected to this surgery?

First of all, it is a major trauma and any such insult will awaken many past karmic remembrances of pain and discomfort. This will give the deep subconscious fodder to ponder and agonize over and can be a source of worry and anxiety. Even as a newborn, the mind is always struggling to interpret its current experience. The fact that it does so poorly because it lacks formalized thinking with lack of experience having no language to create a precision of description, there will still be very strong feelings with any perceived confusion or discomfort of any kind. This is why there is so much crying among infants, they know when they are happy and when they are not. In a sense, it is that simple. So anything of an invasive nature that perturbs them will trigger doubt, confusion, and fear. Their survival instincts are quite keen from the outset. They seek nurturing and safety, and anything that appears to be a threat will be very much a trigger for their inner alarm to sound and then the external crying will begin in earnest. Anything in particular harming the genitalia will register as such and will be referenced again in the future whenever there are things affecting the genitalia that are a source of concern, including sexual encounters. When this phase of life begins with maturation, it always commences with some doubts and fears and ignorance on the part of a youngster who will be ill-equipped at first to fully understand what they are experiencing and the potential benefits and risks, which is simply a consequence of lack of life experience and the maturity of an adult perspective. In addition, anything affecting this sex organ will immediately reawaken karmic trauma from other lifetimes where there may be injury or a threat of some kind directed at that area of the body. This will pile on and add to anxiety and it may create a lifelong area of concern in some individuals where anything involving the genitals will ramp up fear and anxiety and get in the way of normal function and healthy and productive sexual experiences. That is a lot to risk for the sake of a custom that is unneeded and ill-advised.
