This indeed is the case. There are differing vulnerabilities and physiologic derangements among individuals which tilt one way or another in the development of vascular pathology. And this has led to differential diagnosis of various forms of coronary artery disease, for example, when the common problem is a restriction of blood flow given that chronic viral attack of the cells lining the vessels is the common denominator. The ideal would be to use both approaches to get the greatest overall benefit for resolving the dilemma of blood flow restrictions.
