DWQA QuestionsCategory: Divine GuidanceYou have indicated to us that most dreams reflect internal housekeeping, including replaying events of the day to help consolidate memories, and also representing the fact the deep subconscious is seeing and going over past traumas in the akashic records and this causes a great deal of often needless worrying during dreamtime. How common are prophetic dreams, and where do these come from? Are they a divine warning or a self warning from personal exploration of the future during sleep by our intuitive non-local consciousness?

This is a good question and an insightful one and, as you often do, contains the answers. Both things happen when people have a dream about a future potential, a future happening. It can be prophetic because the mind is looking at the actual future that is being projected as a future life extension or even a separate future life yet to be initiated. That awareness of what is taking place on those timelines can be instructive and provide a clue about human destiny and the personal fate in that time and place that was witnessed, and inspire someone to take action that can potentially help forestall a calamity and initiate very significant and much-needed healing. This is the purpose of such forays, to gather intelligence and to see what is needed to help the self to survive and thrive. The deep subconscious is always scanning to see what is coming because it knows from past experience much can go wrong and it is very much honor-bound to protect the self in any way it can. So to look at future events is not only opportunistic but wise, and can be a great benefit if positive action can be taken to exploit this awareness by creating a betterment in some way to forestall calamity or disaster through prior healing that can be initiated by the current self, at least potentially, if the meaning is understood and the incentive and wherewithal within the person’s capability. This can result from unilateral independent exploration which is routine for the deep subconscious because it is always sending out feelers to the repositories of consciousness and to the other lifetimes as well. This is seen to by the looping of time, which is another way of saying that consciousness loops to and fro across time, and this is done for a purpose—it is to gain knowledge so one can act on that information to improve one’s situation in terms of safety and security being the first goal and obligation for purposes of self-preservation. The divine will also impulse possibilities into the subconscious during the dream state in order to be considered and to have more freedom to explore the implications and compare and contrast the notion impulsed with what is known and accessible through the akashic records and, if there is a resonance, it will be embraced most likely and acted on in some fashion. At a minimum, there will be a rumination and serious self-reflection about what one is seeing during the dream experience itself. This will impart knowledge and will serve as a stimulus to taking action of some kind if the person can respond to this stimulus in a positive and helpful way to gain from the experience and not be complacent and ignore the opportunity to learn something and have it be a catalyst for growth in some fashion. Prophetic dreams of this kind are not a large percentage so, in that sense, are not common for most individuals, but an occasional experience, and this is particularly true when there is a direct divine intervention to impart an idea and an awareness. It must be for a high purpose and done strategically when it can do the most good with a high likelihood of being embraced without perturbing or changing the person’s destiny unilaterally. The idea is always to make the person aware of possibilities so they have an opportunity to embrace what they experience, gain meaning from it, and then change something about their lives in reaction to the experience. It still then is a choice and is allowed within the rules of engagement because the person is free to ignore the dream experience.
