You have commented that pregnancy is always agreed to at the higher self level, even in cases of rape and incest. Can you help us understand how that could possibly be so when the female involved is so devastated by the consequences, and turns to abortion anyway to undo what has happened?

In most cases, when there is a tragic consequence of assault or molestation resulting in an unwanted pregnancy, this is agreed to, as we stated, but only because of the imperative of karmic forces that align to produce the same circumstance once it has happened previously and not handled well with healing and recovery of spiritual integrity and alignment. So this is why it may happen unexpectedly, and appear to be so very tragic because here is an innocent female victim having a double tragedy in bearing not just a scar and emotional wound but a living, breathing icon that is a reminder of the horrific circumstances the woman lived through. We fully understand the emotional demands represented by an infant that is the blood relative of an attacker growing within one’s body with a need for love and nurturing, and to take that infant and nurse it at the breast and raise it as a beloved offspring is not within the emotional capability of many women. But this is adopting a tainted emotional view of life, all of which is sacred, and represents a completely different soul than the attacker and not a clone that will link them inexorably to a perpetrator and his ways. But this is understandable because of the lack of awareness of how the makeup of a being is influenced by so many sources of energy and information based on what has come before, supplied by the akashic records as well as the genetic complement. But even the latter, which seems to be immutable and wholly dependent on the biological pedigree, is actually malleable and adjustable during the process of conception to reconfigure things in a way to be in alignment with the new family setting, but that is under ideal circumstances when the pregnancy is allowed to go forward. When there is an abortion, it halts everything and whether this is a help or a hindrance will depend on past experience and what happened then to lower the person and take them further out of alignment spiritually, or was a necessary opportunity to nip things in the bud and heal them in the bargain when they may have had an unwanted pregnancy that was life-ruining because of the tremendous burdens it represented. So this is very much something that has to be considered on a case by case basis. Some women can be saved by not having to face an insurmountable problem for them whereas others need the insurmountable problem to work on conquering it and learning and growing from the healing required for them to rise to the occasion and surmount the burdens and their difficulties. So there is no one-size-fits-all solution in the aftermath of impregnation that is unwanted, but we can tell you there are many imperatives for undergoing the experience, that are mandated by karma and this will seem inexplicable to someone not appreciating the full impact karma represents in bringing back even the things most hated and least wanted, to contend with them yet again in the current life. All of such past history makes the current situation, even without conscious understanding and awareness of the past, so difficult and weighty and impossible to face. That is often as much a symptom of past trauma as an accurate perception of what the person needs, to be in the highest and best life situation going forward.
