Obsidian does attract dark energy and as such, it is like selenite that it represents a potential hazard in the proximity to humans. This is not a huge problem, but it is more the case when people engage with the mineral and have a communication. This is what makes such minerals a hazard. When one is out and about, and there may be obsidian rock nearby or underground, this poses no hazard in and of itself. Keep in mind that dark spirits need the energy of the living in the first place and do not spend great lengths of time hanging around minerals. So they are very much following the energy of communication and can use such communication to piggyback onto the transmission as a carrier wave, so to speak, and possibly penetrate the energy field of a person. So whenever such minerals are used with the intention of safety, there is a connection to the mineral with a fear signature attached, and that in itself is a kind of weakness and will set the stage for a potential abrogation of the energy defense of the person utilizing them as such a tool.
