We do not want to disparage anyone who has loving concern and experiences the loss of a loved one they cared for deeply. That is a natural human reaction to such loss and such feelings are understandable, and it is certainly a source of joy when they engage an effective medium who can bridge that gap and give them a sense of communicating directly with their loved one, and provide that validation there is life after death, and it is true for their loved ones, and that will reassure them as well about their own future in witnessing directly, during their life, evidence of the divine creation being an endless journey of growth and learning through experiencing with fellow beings all that life can bring.
But there are many times, often through persistent grief, unresolved emotions that are being fed as much from inner fear, and a reawakening of old karmic wounds adding to the magnitude of the consequences being felt by the disconnection from the loved one. There is often unresolved business, karmically, and when a loved one passes away, that appears to be an unbridgeable gap and a sense of tremendous loss in having no opportunity for things to improve and to be resolved in a meaningful way, literally a "dead-end" for all that has come before they are aware of, and many people have feelings of regret for things undone and unspoken and were a lost opportunity they now see in hindsight so clearly. Many have doubts about the reality of the divine and are hoping to get some kind of validation that it might be true, that there is a heaven and an afterlife waiting for all of us. So the providing of evidence that people find convincing in a simple communication, arranged through a medium to connect the living with the departed, can serve many agendas, conscious and held internally, that will be meaningful, and allow a process of healing to begin at least, by restoring hope about the future.
