DWQA QuestionsCategory: Extraterrestrial InterlopersWhat percent of intestinal polyps are due to a viral presence in the tissues?

We understand you are fighting this because it seems like everything you ask about turns out to be virus-related. But intestinal polyps are indeed a response to local irritation of the tissues by viral presence and attack on the intestinal lining. So this is more akin to an autoimmune phenomenon than malignancy in the case of polyps that are comprised of only benign cells. But, as you know, polyps can become malignant over time and that is, as well, a consequence of ongoing viral presence that eventually causes malignant transformation to get the cancer going within the polyp tissue. So we would say that polyps are 90 to 95% viral in origin. There can, indeed, be karmic predisposition as well as genetic factors creating a localized vulnerability to polyp formation, but it is viral involvement the vast majority of the time that gets the actual polyp started and keeps it growing in size, by providing a constant insult with the body trying to fight back. That is what provokes the growth of excessive tissue.
