The most frequent cause of this is a consequence of vulnerability to spirit meddler manipulations. This can have a wide array of consequences, from hallucinations, delusional thinking, to lapses in memory, all of which in combination can cause much erratic behavior and emotional swings, and sometimes dangerous behavior that can be self-destructive or a violent act towards caregivers.
