DWQA QuestionsCategory: Divine GuidanceWhat is the divine perspective of the saying: “Nothing is impossible for the man who doesn’t have to do it himself?”

This saying relates to an aspect of human nature that "talk is cheap," another common saying that is a truism. These are interrelated. There are many who offer advice but few volunteer to carry the load and bring about what is recommended or desired. This is what distinguishes the true leader from the person posing as an expert. It takes conviction, courage, insight, and capability to lead others on a successful mission to accomplish something of importance. No one is perfect at anything until they work at it. Growth and learning will be by the doing. Those who simply give advice are often those with only a basic outline of information about the matter at hand and lack direct experience. Experience is the best teacher and it is the experienced hand who will tell you what you wish to do is perhaps far harder than you think, and may well recommend caution or even deferring moving ahead until conditions are more favorable or more preparation has been done. There are many scenarios here where there are high stakes with much to lose by making a false step or choosing the wrong strategy. So it is imperative who you choose to follow, who would step forward with advice and recommend a course of action. It is often the one who will take on the responsibility who has confidence, because they have hard‑won knowledge through experience to begin with and would be the best and safest resource to put one’s faith and trust in.
