As we alluded to, this is very much case and will help her to move forward with her life with greater conviction and ease, and will be a blessing for all involved. The way to manage things is to indicate this is from a past life, not the present life. In literal terms, this is true because it is a life past, being not in the current moment. And so you can both be truthful and serve her by not tying this to the current father. If she has some reawakening of actual memories, this can be readily explained as being an additional factor adding to the pain, but still point the finger at the previous episodes as the watershed events, so to speak, priming her to be particularly sensitive to the issue, and harmed to the point where it required extreme suppression as a coping mechanism. This she will understand and appreciate if needed, as a way to tie things together.
