We know there has to be a quorum of collective healing accomplished in order for the Earth to ascend. But a quorum also suggests that a certain percentage would not be ready. Does that percentage ascend along with Earth in the same way that a rising tide raises all ships? Or will only individuals truly ready, get to ascend? If the latter, what happens to those humans not ready to ascend?

In keeping with the rules of engagement that have been in place all through human history, the choices you make individually, through your free agency and free will privileges, will determine your future and correspondingly your fate. We cannot save people as much as we would like to. That would contravene free will and is not allowed by our own rules of engagement. This has been the tough lesson in the entire enterprise, in the creation of humanity, from the very beginning, knowing you would be put at risk, challenged tremendously to prevail under extremely harsh and uncertain conditions characterized by high risk, the likelihood of being corrupted, dragged down, and harmed grievously, in creating a karmic backlog of trauma that would haunt you in the future and reduce your capabilities correspondingly, making your mission all the harder and adding much more work you would need to do to help yourselves heal. There will need to be a tremendous healing effort in this window of opportunity, if this can be brought about, to prepare people for ascension, because much needs to happen. You are simply not yet ready, you have been roughed up too greatly and are still at too low a vibration and we will not start the ascension until there is a kind of quorum of those healed enough for ascension to be appropriate. Once that happens, ascension will commence and it will be gradual over time, with groups of beings ascending together, and will be more rapid in some parts of the world than others, as predictable from the level of development in spiritual alignment, as that varies greatly from culture to culture. So this will not be determined by superficial characteristics like affluence or the possession of advanced technologies, it will be a function of the degree of spiritual alignment with the light, as the ultimate criterion, because that is all that really matters. The common saying, "You can't take it with you," is more apt than people realize because this will be the ultimate exit. Heretofore, your death has presaged an eventual return, through reincarnation, to resume working on your soul journey and the problem of evil, and often falling behind from your own wounding adding to the mountain of effort you would need to regain lost ground so as to eventually be ready for ascension with having reached a critical turning point making ascension even possible. This has been a heroic and last-ditch effort against very close odds not always in your favor. Humanity has gone through many, many dark periods where things regressed rather than moved forward. That has taken a toll and added to the karmic backlog of needed healing, but you have been catching up and we can see your success being a real possibility now. But, as with all human endeavor, no two people are identical, so people will vary in their rate of progress and their readiness for ascension and the timetable. There will be many who choose to ascend in groups, particularly family units, and every attempt will be made for the readiness of those individuals with close ties. In actuality, each person can choose their own timetable and there may be some family units that will have a member or members who lag too far behind, and thus would hold back others in the family unduly, and may be left on their own following the ascension of the others. But this is, like all aspects of life, a learning opportunity as well as a healing opportunity at the most critical juncture in history, with so much at stake, and the consequences so dramatic. In contrast, there will be a premium placed on ascension preparation and healing like never before, particularly once this commences, but that does not mean everyone can get ready quickly. Everyone will need time, from this point forward, to have as much healing done as possible for their readiness. The healing we speak of is for deep karmic repair. That is the anchor on your chain, negative karmic trauma, and the imbalance energetically that results, that will haunt you over and over again during a lifetime and then beyond into future lives as well. That is what must be overcome, this legacy of negative karma. It is not a function of any other energetic manipulation or even something more elegant, such as repair or reconfiguration of DNA strands that might be corrupted or missing, as many have discussed. You, indeed, will have a different configuration once you ascend, but that is not necessary for ascension nor can it be done while you are in the physical. Those ideas are not serving you because they are a kind of red herring that would be a make-work exercise in wishful thinking but not contributing anything material to the goal of your readiness for ascension. This is why there will be a quite varied process proceeding irregularly and quite varied, looking all around the globe. Just as there are large inequities in almost any attribute you choose to focus upon amongst the human population, readiness for ascension will be slow in coming for many. So those in the first wave will set an example for others, and that is expected to increase the attention and focus on this as a goal. Once people see what can happen, they will want to have a turn and will be quite excited and will work in earnest to get ready.
