This falls within the category overall of loose ends that result when the Protocol steps are not fully completed successfully. The largest source of problems with spirit removal is the hybrid lost souls, and lost souls with an agenda based on karmic history with the host. They are, by far, much more challenging to motivate, but the occasional spirit meddler may dig in its heels as well. It is largely through fear that this happens. They are so mistrustful and so fearful about punishment, they are reluctant to accept advice and encouragement, even with promise of great rewards because they are so skeptical, and that is honed to a high degree from all of the deceptions they have taken part in through the eons. The level of cynicism could hardly be much greater than it is among spirit meddlers, who routinely deceive one another and are in turn deceived by the extraterrestrial spirit overseers. So they are quite hard cases to deal with at times, but their removal is almost always successful because of the power of the light, as long as the host is open to the healing fully and not too invested in partnering with them by choice.
