How you handle that will teach you something and may well present an object lesson that you perceive as your being weak and a failure when perhaps you only lack experience, greater training, more knowledge, or perhaps an inevitable limit on what is possible given your physicality is a function of the genetic endowment from your parents and not a choice. So if you are a male, slight of build, short of height, being born into family with those characteristics, you will have a harder time standing up to a tall, well-muscled ruffian on the street. If you take a beating, it will be hard to shrug that off as just simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and not feel personally that you have been defeated soundly, and come away feeling small and in all likelihood more in fear of the future that something like that could happen again.
