Yours is an interesting analysis but this was not within the awareness of Tocqueville to comment on. His was a more prosaic, down to earth level analysis of the consequences of right and wrong on human society. When what is right, what is just, what is fair, and what is allowed are all determined by a central authority, with little flexibility and no room for sensitivity, acts of compassion, and individual circumstances needing special attention, or exceptions to the rules, many will suffer from the imposition of a heartless uniformity of treatment. Even if every attempt is made to lighten the load and ease one’s path, it is a deception because what this results in is actually a disempowerment rather than being truly cared for and having all needs met.
This will end up diminishing the individual because there will be no room for their initiative, creativity, independent thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit to perhaps create innovations and new strategies. The end result is, even though the masses might not need to worry about too many things, neither will there be room for individual initiative and inspiration to exceed the norm, to transcend present circumstances, and create new paradigms through growth and strengthening that comes from life experience and meeting and overcoming challenges. If one must be passive and follow the dictates of the state, there will be no way to grow, no way to build muscles, but rather a crushing uniformity and a state of limitation and sameness that will be stultifying and will eventually lead to mass deterioration in function and performance.
This has been witnessed again and again. When only a few at the top make all the decisions and decide the fate of everyone else, the pool of talent is thereby greatly restricted and we can tell you that even led by geniuses, those geniuses will be manipulated heavily by the Extraterrestrial Alliance to greatly restrict what they can think and what they will be willing to do on behalf of the average citizen. Growth and learning exceed expectations when the being is unfettered and not given clear, prescribed boundaries, and limited roles with many rules to restrict freedom of movement and thought. In a sense, what one has is the freedom to not think because everything will be programmed and seen to so everyone gets their ration. That is not a healthy or joyous way to live when you are capable of so much more through having independence, freedom of movement, and sovereignty as an individual.
