Berberine Phytosome* (Barberis aristata extract (root)/Phospholipid complex from Pea, Sunflower, Grape Seed) 550 mg. Is this safe and effective for helping diabetes symptoms? Would it be an acceptable replacement for Liponine, if the latter becomes unavailable?

Here again, this would be useful on its own but is not equivalent to Liponine and its benefits for diabetes symptom control and management.
