There is much talk about the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump as being divine providence, perhaps in guiding him to turn his head at just the right moment, which may have been what saved him. Was this the case?

This was a divine intervention, and this was done as part of an answer to prayers. It is hard for many average citizens to believe Trump has supporters but, indeed, he does. There were many attending that rally who said prayers beforehand for safety, and unfortunately, that could not be extended to every individual given the determination of the Extraterrestrial Alliance to bring about a tragedy. There are limits to our ability to intervene and we cannot play favorites. So, in that sense, Trump was a lucky beneficiary of the sequence of events where we introduced perturbations of the shooter to increase his anxiety and to be rushed in his final decision-making. That clearly benefited some, but not all, of the attendees. So it was not possible to prevent all from being harmed, given the shooter was still able to get off a volley of rounds before the reprisal intervened to end his life. But they were poorly aimed, and that is what saved the president. It was not a deliberate attempt on our part to protect him, in particular, with the head turn, for example, at just the right moment. It was a combination of the perturbation of the shooter, which, in effect, caused some delay at first in him getting into position. Then, when things seemed to settle down, and he proceeded to carry out his final preparation for unleashing the volley of shots, he was under greater pressure and then was rushed in the execution. But it was the combination of those two periods of influence that determined when the volley was launched, and then its overall less than perfect accuracy. And those two factors were what determined whether or not any particular human present at the rally was hit by one of the rounds. We were not micromanaging that to spare Trump while allowing others to be grievously wounded or killed. All that happens is not under divine control. There are limits to our manipulations always. The rest is up to the Law of Karma and the physical forces in play as well; mostly, the consciousness of the soul-based beings taking part in an unfolding event and their intentions, which usually need to be allowed to play out. That is why the best we can do, often times, is to influence things and sometimes that is enough to mitigate damage. We can tell you that was the case here in spite of the casualties. It could have been far worse, certainly for President Trump.
