We agree that love is the most powerful force in the universe and is, in its way, the answer to any and every problem, but love that is not defined is only a concept and a vague one at that. What we mean by love is: love with intention behind it, love with a purpose, love with an agenda, love with a destination, and a destiny. Where is that precision and expansion in this New Age notion, "Love is all you need?" The latter is, in the end, a disempowerment. It is much like finding out there is a war raging and your side is about to be overrun and having your leader tell the people, "All you need is a weapon," but not telling what you need to do with it, where you need to go, how it needs to be employed, and with what strategy and tactics. This is a hollow promise at best because love must have a measure of wisdom and discernment and an understanding of where the greatest needs lie and then how to go about dispensing that love.
Here one is getting into the art of living in a deep fashion. There are many, many human beings who are loving and who feel loving thoughts but who have been programmed to be complacent, and thus it becomes a kind of indulgence that they can feel happy in their relative comfort and island of safety they might inhabit even as others are suffering and dying around them in large numbers. We would say, there is much love missing even for those who profess to live in love and through love in their particular lifestyle because they have been told that is the best way to be. This is why love alone is not an answer to serious problems. What is needed is love with a greater definition and degree, recognizing the level of need and the circumstances making it not only a good fit to the rebalancing of things but a high level and technically detailed implementation of loving intentions to solve specific problems and do so just in the nick of time to forestall a tragedy—that is the world you live in and what is truly needed.
