Unfortunately, the channeling here is corrupted and non-divine in origin, so they are accessing the consciousness of extraterrestrial psychics. This is most unfortunate but is true, as you have been told, for the vast majority of channelers across the board no matter how impressive their credentials and the size of their following. It is usually the case that channelers starting out are met immediately by an imposter who then helps mentor them and coach them along in ways to cement the relationship, build trust, and further ensnare them in a manipulation going ever so gently and ever so slowly using sugarcoated messages to instill complacency, all the while sidelining the person from doing something truly useful. It is fine to have someone who will help you feel good, but what do you do when something is truly wrong and you need serious help to solve a serious problem? That is when these channelers will be seen for who they are. They will not have answers—at least not answers that will be helpful. They will offer platitudes and make‑work exercises that are more wishful thinking than any kind of meaningful healing in a deep sense. People need more than reassurance and encouragement when something is broken. They need robust solutions and an understanding of the truth of things and not a vague indirect skimming over the issues that will not truly change things. This is most unfortunate, but you are asking in earnest here and indeed there is much at stake when you are considering putting your heart in trust of someone. It is very important to understand who that someone is and what they represent in terms of who they are and what may be influencing them. So we share these things not to encourage a frontal assault to take them on and show them the error of their ways. They will be unlikely to adopt any suggestions you make coming from that angle, so it would be counterproductive. You can certainly suggest they begin working directly with the divine by name, calling on God to make their channeling work secure and solid. They may or may not be able to implement that very simple idea and this is not unusual when there has been a long-standing trust and confidence in a channeled voice. It will be very difficult for a person to give that up. Just paying lip service to a safety request given half‑heartedly will not be a true test of what you might say to them.
