The National Park Service website nps.gov had this to say about Zebra Mussels: “Zebra mussels are small, freshwater, bivalve shellfish that were likely brought to the U.S. as stowaways in the ballast water of ships. They are native to the Caspian and Black Seas south of Russia and Ukraine, and have since become widespread in both Europe and the U.S.” The zebra mussel is a problem because it is so prolific. Each female can release up to a million eggs a year. “Biofouling is [an ecological problem] … Zebra mussels will attach to native mussels much like they do docks, boats, and water and power plant intake pipes, and in large enough numbers can prevent the natives from moving, feeding, reproducing, or regulating water properly. The zebra mussels also outcompete the natives for food and space, and because of their fast reproduction can quickly overwhelm a water system. The feeding habits of zebra mussels can also have a drastic impact on an infested lake. Zebra mussels are filter feeders that siphon particles of plankton from the water. They are highly efficient at this, and a large population of mussels can quickly clear the water of almost all floating particles. This change can cause shifts in local food webs, both by robbing food from native species that feed on plankton and also by increasing water clarity and thus making it easier for visual predators to hunt.” The costs to control and clean up zebra mussel infestations is enormous. And the problem never goes away, it can only be managed. This species is so good at causing problems, it couldn’t have been a truly native creature in the Black Sea either. It seems tailor-made for another WORLD and doesn’t belong here at ALL. What is Creator’s perspective, and what kind of environment is a good fit for this creature?

We can tell you with certainty that this creature is not fit for any natural environment given its propensity to overwhelm and choke out many other life forms and, as such, is a kind of time bomb, a sort of natural doomsday device. It might be slow in progressing and hit only certain layers of life forms, but keep in mind that the evildoers use multipronged strategies of many diverse kinds. That is why we have called the human dilemma an ongoing "death by a thousand cuts," each one individually doing some damage but with so many happening in parallel it threatens the whole, and this is the danger for humanity, that you become so weakened there is not enough divine capital from prayer of human beings to turn the tide to save you. When things get so bad and you are so weakened, all that is needed is a coup de grâce to complete your extermination. So the zebra mussel, as you intimate, is not a natural species but yet another orchestration, through genetic tinkering, to alter properties of a natural occurring organism to turn it into a species that has become almost uncontrollable in its ability to choke out other life. Because of the interdependence of life forms within an ecosystem, one or a few related species can have a huge impact on the whole, because there can be a catastrophic tipping point when one problem develops and triggers a kind of domino effect to cause other secondary difficulties, with the mounting negativity eventually becoming too great to be absorbed by the whole. At some point, it can threaten the continued existence of the whole enterprise within Gaia and, of course, what you most care about, and we as well, is that the purpose of Earth's existence is to support humanity as a life form. You were created to solve the rise of evil in your galaxy because that has become like a cancer that spreads everywhere and contaminates everything it touches. It will take down the entire enterprise if it is not stopped. The only thing standing in the way is your ability to learn and implement what is needed to be an advocate for divine love to address and heal the problem.
