You are providing a possibility but describing it in part as unachievable or undoable by God. So to clarify the true meaning of your words as intended, and in keeping with how things operate under the rules of engagement between the divine and human level, anything can be changed by divine intervention. The question is, "How directly? And thus, how quickly might this come about?" Free will is always honored but there are exceptions as well that can override free will under the right circumstances, especially if it is in the best interests of the recipient of divine attention for that to happen, because people often make poor choices that might be quite self-destructive, and do so out of ignorance and being trapped in self-destructive behavior that has become beyond their ability to control. And so there are many examples we could point to that nothing can change because of the free will that makes the bad things happen. It is indeed the case that things can be done directly and quickly at times, but most commonly are arranged through a careful step-by-step healing process working from the edges in towards the middle, and that involves much work on other timelines, other lifetimes of difficulty that have added to current problems in the way things come about energetically, through the Law of Karma, to return wrongdoing to the perpetrator and vulnerability and victimhood to the victim, in future lifetimes as a test and as an opportunity to set things right, and bring about a rebalancing that will heal it for all time and make it nothing but a positive learning experience, in the end, once the difficulty it induces is surmounted.
In spite of all your suffering, you will one day perceive it all as having been well worth the trouble and pain in the experiencing. So there is a higher purpose for all that takes place and we do follow our own rules quite carefully, but the rules include exceptions and workarounds for many circumstances, and that is heartening to know. The key here in understanding what you are after is appreciating that much of the difficulty in making your life better rests with you and what you have done to yourself through developing low expectations, a cynical view of things, a level of non-belief in the possibility of divine intervention and that miracles can happen. The hardest thing to heal is someone who believes strongly they are doomed and defective. Such beliefs put handcuffs on the Almighty quite directly and powerfully, so there needs to be something to make up for this obstacle. It may well come from loving friends and family wanting a divine intervention for their loved one who suffers without relief, or it may simply be a long slow process through multiple lifetimes to reach a true and meaningful improvement. Either way, there is always a path for betterment, and this is what we want to see happen for the whole of humanity.
