He feels better but it is not the gazing itself, it is the quiet interlude in which he is focused on something positive and this has a calming and stress-reducing effect as happens with meditation for most people. What is truly helping him during that experience is a retrocausal elevation of his state of being from the prayer work he does subsequently. In a sense, he is opening the door to the divine with the expectations that the gazing session will work wonders for him, and that creates a state of allowing, posing less resistance to divine intervention to change things for the better. So in a sense, it is a useful adjunct even though the being doing the gazing is not contributing any useful energy, and in fact could confer a potential liability, as we have discussed with you, because he is used as a pied piper and the interlopers note who attends his sessions and follow him, and those individuals will be targeted for a follow-up to corrupt them. In the case of this individual, he is already a person of interest; they have no great concern about individuals they have already included in their list to be manipulated doing such things because they see it as harmless folly.
