His higher self is fully in support of healing as long as all parts of his mind are in agreement. Like the rest of the divine realm, the higher self must honor free will, and that is the difficulty here in getting a turnaround, that even the divine realm has limited power when it comes to free will choices, even if they are misguided and self-destructive, so time will tell what kind of progress could be made in turning things around.
