We view this as a rather weak approach and there are reasons this is so. In the first place, the deep subconscious will be worrying about many things simultaneously, and so an open-ended general request of this kind invites the deep subconscious to seize on something in particular, but that will be a kind of random choice and might relate to a quite narrow situation or consequence, but simply be what is uppermost in the thoughts of the deep subconscious when the session is being launched. The deep subconscious will not have the big picture view to best understand how to rank things in terms of relative importance. It is a more primitive level of the mind, with respect to free will actions, in thinking about where one has been and where one is going. In that respect, it is very similar to the conscious level of the mind only holding one thought at a time and not being privy to the past or the future and may become stuck worrying incessantly about a single issue, or set of issues, almost to the exclusion of everything else going on in the person's life. The deep subconscious is like that. But if you take a snapshot during the day as it works through innumerable issues and concerns, because it looks at so many things on an almost constant basis, there will almost always be something ugly whizzing by and a sudden request to choose something of importance will be met with quick and swift selection from the stream of observations being conducted, to sift and sort and review categories of circumstances that resemble things that are viewed as germane to the unfolding life it is a part of. So what we are saying is something will get worked on, but it might not be what is highest and best that could make a better use of the effort being launched.
