Once the healing happens, is the memory that is the actual makeup of the cording changed somehow to make it neutral so it won’t further trigger the client, and then cleared eventually by normal housekeeping that will remove cords no longer active? Or is the cord dissolved somehow by the healing so it disappears more quickly?

It is the former and not the latter that happens. So the healing energy will travel via the cording to the akashic records to inform the energetic signature a change is needed, and then the workings of the Law of Karma will take note and will send a new representation of the energetic signature to the cording in question to update it. The cording will remain until the normal housekeeping clearance takes place and then may be dissolved if the healing is complete. So this is in keeping with the window for reconsolidation to play out, whether the healing is faulty in some way, only partial, or fully effective in neutralizing all negativity associated with the trauma event giving rise to the memory of the cording. When the reconsolidation window closes, if healing has been accomplished, then the cording will be dissolved, but not before. This has practical value because many times, healing is partial and not fully completed. So there is an opportunity still present with the reconsolidation that is underway by the sending of that healing energy, for a revisit to do further work. And that would be efficient in the sense of having the guideposts represented by the cording still in place to allow further interchange to make more progress in strengthening the healing and perhaps even reaching a full release of negativity. So the system is designed to build in that possibility by not having too rapid an on-again, off-again, mechanism. Because humans are very busy beings, their minds are active and easily distracted, but if there is an ongoing dilemma, eventually, the person will go back to their ruminations. And so, there is a natural mechanism and consideration this represents, to allow some flexibility in having the pathway open for a period of time and that will make it easy to resume work that gets interrupted to make it more complete. In any event, that is the routine operation, that the reconsolidation window will be honored in all cases, whether utilized quickly and fully or incrementally, provided each incremental step takes place within that time window. Otherwise, there will need to be a re-engagement to go looking for that issue and starting in again to make changes.
