Mrs. Prophet and her Church taught the “science of decrees.” The decree was the main form of worship practiced; a kind of rhythmic chanting prayer. The decrees call on Angels, Elementals (nature spirits), and the Ascended Masters to help bring about protection, wisdom, healing, and elimination of negative karma on Earth. Often decrees were used in an attempt to protect the person or church from the negative energy of people with hostility, or perceived hostility, toward the person or church. Some have concerns that this was a form of cursing and casting of spells. What is Creator’s perspective?

This was simply a continuation of old teachings in the use of prayer. Many such decrees, if appealing to a truly divine level source, can be used as a starting point for reinforcement by the divine realm to bring to the person what they seek, what they wish to happen, as assistance and further guidance to help them move along the best path to bring about what they want, and that is the essence of divine partnership, to not have humans be a helpless supplicant but taking action themselves and choosing positive steps to take and following through on their own initiative. There might be divine guidance to encourage the choice, but then they must do something on their end to do their part, to get things in motion, literally. So decrees are all well and good. To the extent they are not going to the loftiest of sources, and God, in particular, being the ultimate power and authority, they will lack energy and limit what is truly possible. But we can tell you even if a decree is misguided, for example, in assuming someone is an enemy based on false information or interpretation of circumstances, the divine realm will never act on any human desire for someone to be avoided, excluded, reduced in power or authority, or harmed in any way. Humans can do that themselves with their own thoughts, but that becomes an exercise in metaphysical phenomenology the court system will have difficulty reinforcing with legal sanctions. People harm one another with their thoughts all the time without realizing their consciousness does have some power to cause difficulty, but we can tell you no religion has divine power at its beck and call to be used against its enemies. If the cause is righteous, we can provide some assistance for a dilemma, in addressing wrongdoing and the perpetrators, but will not mete out punishment but rather will bring love to bear through healing to help raise them up. That is the proper way to deal with one's adversaries. It has been taught in some religions but not nearly enough to have people gain a full understanding that the power of love is the greatest force of the universe when delivered through the divine. If you partner with that divine force properly, anything is possible.
