DWQA QuestionsCategory: Coronavirus COVID-19Many, many will be hard on themselves, and berating themselves saying: “Why didn’t I see this coming?” What can Creator say to these people so that they can forgive themselves and begin the arduous task of adjusting to a new life with a more positive and hopeful perspective?

Why blame yourself when your very culture is at fault? You are told again and again by a growing chorus of voices that religion is not only unhelpful but dangerous and an actual cause of things like war, as evidenced by the many polarizations it produces in people where they become warring factions, and even literally going to war in a formal way in the name of their faith. This is a perversion of divine truth and a darkening that is being engineered to happen under your watch. To give up on yourself is wholly unwarranted when you are not being given good advice or shown good examples of how to live in divine alignment and have access to a society and institutions within that society that function well, that are in balance, and are helping people and providing support in a material way that raises them up. In actuality, the opposite is the case. Your governments are corrupt, failing to lead, and often doing the very worst things, instead of what could be a positive action of some kind that will result in human betterment. Whom can you trust under such circumstances? To blame yourself when the world has gone mad is adding to the folly. So we would simply say if you are unhappy and suffering, look for something positive you can do to help yourself make things better and be very careful in following outside advice because there are many false messengers and many faulty examples that will only show you what not to do. Blaming yourself for making a misstep or being unable to fend off or cope with a downturn that is truly beyond your control is most unfortunate and undeserved. You need your strength, your belief in yourself, in order to get the maximum divine assistance. If you do not believe in yourself, we cannot help you to the fullest possible extent because your negativity will constrain the divine response. We must follow your lead, so you must be strong enough to make a clear and impassioned request with a powerful intention behind it stating clearly what you want to see happen and believing in us, as well as your worthiness to receive divine assistance. If either of those are weak and incomplete, we must adjust our response accordingly and can only render partial assistance in proportion to your level of belief overall in the very possibility of what you want to see. So many have become corrupted by negative thinking, they are in a poor position to pray and receive divine assistance. This has given the very act of prayer a bad name. That is not deserved simply because not all prayers seem to be answered quickly and fully. There are many reasons for this. One must look deeper for the truth and to better understand how the divine realm interacts with humanity. There are many rules we must follow and when humans are in charge, they must set the tone, they must establish the agenda, and they must make the first move to reach out to us. We know everything that is happening but we cannot jump in unilaterally and work to influence things. We come at your invitation. If that is absent, you will be on your own. This has been going on far too long with people drifting away from thoughts of the divine and an active interplay. You are the losers and that will continue until you decide to act on your behalf to reach out and establish a partnership with the divine.
