Kryon describes there being three kinds of nodes across the planet: Portals, where the crystalline grid overlaps with Gaia; Vortexes, where energy is “colliding” and may be unpleasant; and Vortals, that are half portal and half vortex; and also Nulls, where the “energies cancel out.” Can you give us a tutorial so we better understand this grid system, its purpose, and relationship to the phenomena we encounter in our healing work?

What you are getting here is a description of some of the higher dimensional forces that impinge on Gaia, and everything within Gaia included. There are physical energies of multiple kinds involved with the health and maintenance of the earth itself as a part of Gaia. The biologic entities, especially human beings, are an additional component of Gaia and as such, have many interconnections with other dimensions because of their history as light beings in many cases, and their karmic history. This is because your karma goes with you wherever you go and is anchored in and referenced by the akashic records. There will be an energy grid encompassing individual human beings and the collective of humanity as well. So it is, at once, a personal energetic grid and a collective energetic grid. This overlays and intercalates with the energy of Gaia and its connections to the akashic records as well. There are many beings that have an energetic connection to the divine realm. Those that are soul-based especially so, but also those who have a collective oversoul among the animal species, for example, have their own grid because there is a compartmentalization of these entities, and crosstalk among the participants. So that is the energy comprising the grid being mentioned by Kryon here. The portals are the energy of the akashic records providing interconnections for the formation and interaction with earth's repository of information as an extension of consciousness. The vortex is a comparable phenomenon, but comprised of the energy of Gaia with respect to the physical components of the earth, all of which have consciousness, and all of which have a history and a future. The combined energies at so-called portals are aware there is conjunction of energy of both the earth and the soul-based beings present within Gaia as a whole. This also explains why the energies can collide, because there can be a kind of competition for dominance in the flow, sort of like having waves from separate disturbances meeting and potentially augmenting one another or distorting the effects with a change in direction or intensity. The null points are where there is a confluence of energies that are in a kind of balance and this creates a kind of quiescence, because there is nothing undergoing an intensification to cause a local disturbance that could have effects on the overall state of being of all forms of consciousness in the immediate vicinity. This is somewhat akin to, as an analogy, someone walking through a beautiful countryside on a calm day, perhaps in early morning with the sun just about to rise and everything is still quite absent. The night dwellers are returning to their dens to sleep during the day and those who will be awakening soon have not started their routines. That is a stark contrast to a person who might be walking through a large city in the middle of the day and experiencing the hustle and bustle of many other beings around them, as well as all the machinery, vehicles, the sounds of traffic and conversations, creating quite a cacophony of stimuli. So this does not imply a direct influence necessarily. It will always be a function of complementarity or sensitivity to disturbance, whether there is any consequence of energies colliding in that fashion. This will be quite variable but again, it is the intentions that collide, because we are talking about the energetics of consciousness here, not electromagnetic phenomena, which will determine whether there will be complementary, an additive influence, or an aversion and avoidance, like oil and water meeting and bouncing off one another.
