Joyce Meyer said, “No matter what has happened to you in the past or what is going on in your life right now, it has no power to keep you from having an amazingly good future if you will walk by faith in God. God loves you! He wants you to live with victory over sin so you can possess His promises for your life today!”

There is much virtue in this quotation because it is at once an encouragement as well as a somewhat realistic reflection of what might be involved in making one's life better, especially when coming from behind. Many people who have struggled have the greatest challenge to right their ship, return enough to divine alignment to obtain some assistance, and then must work hard to regain their footing and make forward progress to build on over time to perhaps even get to what would have been a fair starting point for them without prior tragedy causing a gigantic setback in some way. Those who struggle so, need extra help but will not often know how to go about getting it. This is where faith comes in, it is not easy to reach out to us when you have lived a life of pain and disappointment—that might limit what we can do in response to help you. It does not matter the level of love and compassion we feel and the level of caring we feel about you and your existence, and especially your current plight if you suffer or have too many obstacles for you to overcome to get where you would like to go. If you cultivate enough faith in us to get things started and are willing to take action yourself to add to that intention, to achieve a raising up, a bettering of your life, some forward progress, we can then begin to join in, and help you as well, to build your faith more greatly, and if you ask for that in particular, we will do more of it and it will be more effective and the benefits will come all the quicker. This is to explain that you hold the power, you hold the reins. We want your success and your victory over all sources of negativity that could hold you down and hold you back. If you do your part, we can do ours, and that is our hope for you, that you will hear these words and you will take them to heart and listen, and find a way to start an outreach to us and evolve a plan to move forward, if only in a small way, and with some faith in our ability to support you and inspire and guide your progress, we can bring strength and guidance to make the effort easier and eventually successful. You need not walk alone.
