Is there a deeper reason that this pianist fell and broke his wrist and suffers continued impairment of his playing professionally?

This was not targeted to happen explicitly. This was more of a karmic mishap that was set up by the Law of Karma as a consequence of prior lifetimes being held back again and again from moving forward, and then ultimately failing in some way. There is nothing like an accidental injury to recapitulate that kind of dilemma as it will take a person out of action at least immediately to deal with the aftermath, but then often for a prolonged period if there is a long interval of healing needed to get back in trim and continue one's activities. And in the case of this individual, being able to have his hands unencumbered to freely play his instrument is quite important for his life purpose, so this is an unfortunate confluence of energies where he incurred a karmic penalty in addition to his other difficulties he has had to contend with. So we will be working to see what can be done with further healing even though this has become a long-term liability because it did not heal fully.
