This is not the major cause but is also a contributing factor nonetheless, so this is an important clue and a potential therapeutic avenue as well. It is not the be-all and end-all of solutions but will help to focus things in a way to eventually reawaken the cancer researchers to broaden horizons and explore these alternative avenues, and this would be a good thing because it will be very productive and is very much needed to redirect the focus of research on the true causes.
