DWQA QuestionsCategory: Healing ModalitiesIs the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), as or more effective for treating cancer than a broad-based hemp extract like CannaComplete?

It is hard to make a categorical assertion in wanting to consider the whole gamut of possible circumstances, given that cancer is heterogeneous and there are many, many, individual variations in body metabolism, levels of immune function that provide natural healing capabilities, and many other variables among individuals. But in general, we would say that THC has anticancer activities in its own right, but would not recommend its use in place of a broad-based extract of cannabinoids because, on average, the latter will perform as or more effectively, for both prophylaxis and treatment. There may be individual exceptions, but to make a general recommendation of either/or, we would recommend the legal hemp extract with THC removed as more helpful in the majority of cases than pure THC. It is possible to have both, but then the trade-off is having to function with the psychoactive effects of THC on board, and that has its own problems regarding safety, given the likelihood of reduced functionality in terms of mental focus, clarity, and possible side effects on memory, as well as weakening of the aura defense against spirit attachments, and then risks to mental health.
