Is the promotion of more and more sugar in the diet solely commercial greed or is this facilitated by a sinister mind control manipulation of the food industry?

This is very much the case that this is an unregulated substance that is every bit as dangerous as other things that are abused such as alcohol and tobacco. Sugar, in particular, is deceptive because it is a natural foodstuff and seems harmless, on its face, because it does not alter function in a dramatic way with acute administration or ingestion, and being so pleasurable, is seen as a delight, and one of the benefits of modern civilization that it is readily available and affordable to almost everyone. The downside is more insidious than with those things that affect the mind and senses that can distract and become addictions that drag down human performance. The liability of sugar is in the decline in health, and reduced longevity. So, the cause-and-effect are unclear and the possibility it contributes to a long-term negative outcome is easily dismissed from the mind because people do not want to give up the pleasure out of any sense of duty, even that of self-preservation. This hedonistic, live for the moment, perspective is a hallmark of mind control manipulation, as well. These thoughts are encouraged all the time to have people live for the moment, take chances, ignore safeguards, neglect their well-being and their future by not being planful and frugal. So, this is the reason for much reckless overspending, lack of saving, poor decision-making, in not taking care of having sound nutrition and safe living quarters, as a priority over luxury items and vices, including even commonplace readily available fast foods, and snack items. The fault of those who display poor judgment in spending money on a flat-screen TV, when their children are poorly clothed and fed, is not ignorance or selfishness as a result of a character flaw, or being uneducated and shortsighted, but something more sinister and deeper. It is always the case, when one does not plan for their survival, something is in the way to misdirect them, misguide them, subvert them, and corrupt them. This is done across the board in all human societies, to keep humanity suppressed, and operating inefficiently and, as much as possible, in a self-destructive mode.
