It is very important in working with these clients with that history in the Mercenary Army Program that you tread carefully to not divulge too much detail or fan the flames of inner fears. He has acclimated to the idea, and does believe this is his history, and his burning curiosity as well has been a flashpoint and danger for him in stirring up the inner censors and potentially outside scrutiny as well. This revelation will help him better understand that the details he yearns to access will not be comforting and will not be valuable in their own right. This entire interaction was serving in slave‑like fashion to an outside fascist state, desiring nothing less than his subjugation and usage as a tool of destruction for the entirety of humanity. It is much like being a Holocaust survivor, that while there is a strong need for justice, for understanding, and to serve as an example to all of the deep meaning of the horrendous tragedy, if one builds a shrine to their past suffering, it will not serve them in the end even as it serves others as a warning. There is a happy medium under the most difficult of circumstances that must be sought in each individual case. So for him, this will be a positive, and pointing out some things are better left to the inner workings, and if healing can be brought to bear it is a blessing but inviting the conscious self to the party will not be helpful and may backfire.
