Is it possible to channel someone from the future? What are the issues and concerns this might address, or complicate?

This is fully possible to do. The reason you have not done so heretofore is not because you have not thought of it, but that you see there are many complications and uncertainties in terms of what might be gained. This is for the same reason as you're not doing future predictions as a mainstream activity or even on a spot basis, other than to ask general questions about how things are going in the overall contest underway, with an eye towards getting useful feedback about the efforts of you and your fellow lightworkers wanting to save and heal humanity. It is understandable that you will not be complacent but want to probe and see how things are going as a way of judging efficacy of your work. With all that is at stake, any intelligence you can gain about future prospects and take action, perhaps in time to avoid a shortcoming that undermines the success of the enterprise, is fully justified. There is no rule against probing the future, and there are special circumstances when this is fully warranted and is the best way to address particular issues. But in general, this will not be the case because the big picture is in a state of flux always, because the counterposing forces are in a back and forth arm wrestling mode and by turns, one is gaining or losing ground. And this cannot be helped because it is the nature of the energies being deployed. For this reason, discussing issues with someone in that future setting may well give you a snapshot only, of conditions that, moreover, are temporary. And thus, you might come away with a distorted view of future possibilities and their likelihood that could become quite misleading and be a major disadvantage rather than an asset to gain that information. There is an art to probing other timelines and humans are not used to doing this. The divine realm is much more adept because we understand that energy is always in a state of flux, and we can anticipate how that might influence how we see things, and will always be an important factor in how we proceed. It will not be based on what is immediately apparent, but a deeper look not only at what is going on as seen on the surface, but what might come next and what that might mean to the overall trajectory of what we are probing and asking about. That will allow a more in depth understanding of what is taking place than would be visible, even from a direct conversation with someone living on that timeline. Keep in mind, they will only know their current knowledge and perspective and not have an appreciation of the future beyond where they are on that timeline. So this automatically limits whatever they can tell you as representing a kind of dead end with respect to interpretation and applicability of whatever their story might suggest. They, themselves, have no idea about their future from the point of their current perspective. So you will only gain a certain kind of information that will still be biased and must be interpreted quite carefully for it to have value, and in the absence of a deeper understanding, which might not be possible by you personally, it will carry risks to go scouting around and looking into things that will be difficult to understand and interpret, because you might be opening a can of worms and not realize it.
