All such notions are entirely superstitious in nature and origin, both. These are ideas implanted by the darkness into living humans to create a kind of folly to trick them into doing something that is useless and will, in effect, get a kind of game going where people will try one nostrum and then another, then increase the variety and amounts of the presumed magic substance that can protect them, and that can even reach absurd proportions in a desperate attempt to ward off evil. All the while, they are being mocked and laughed at by the dark forces who set that false idea going by implanting it in the minds of humans. This was done by extraterrestrial interlopers as a kind of cosmic joke and amusement to watch humans flail about and struggle with their fears and deceive them, to give them false answers and useless tools, to then enjoy the consequences of the desperate attempts for self-protection that go nowhere and, in many ways, are counterproductive because spirits know full well, in seeing the trappings of attempted self-protection, there are people at that location living in fear of them and they will join the game as well, to go after those human beings with relish, seeing them as already weakened through fear and ignorant as well about their true helplessness. So, in addition to being worthless as remedies, such practices can make things worse by telegraphing a state of fear and perceived vulnerability—that will always attract the bullies.
