DWQA QuestionsCategory: Non-Local ConsciousnessIf our consciousness comes from our soul, while our body comes from the divine as a separate act of creation, is this why we often feel out of place and must struggle many times to accommodate and find harmony?

This is an important key to understanding the struggle involved with life. There are many impediments and many obstacles to making quick progress, but most of these are the primary disconnection from your larger knowledge base of having lived many lives before. But the physical arrangement, that you are living in a kind of cocoon that shelters you from the environment and acts as your interface with the physical, as a being of consciousness first and foremost, will require adjustments and learning. That is the first order of business for the infant, to figure out how their body works and how to manipulate things in the environment they sense, through sight and hearing and touch. As you know, this takes years to learn the knack of locomotion and the many physical skills expected by the culture, learning to dress the self, use a lavatory, eat with utensils, and so on. All the things taken for granted by an adult are the product of much hard learning and effort and struggle to get right. But even when the level of physical skills is satisfactory, there are many mysteries about maintaining health when things go wrong with the body and symptoms must be endured or solutions sought to obtain effective healing. The same is true of the emotional experiencing of the physical body, that it will present an array of responses that take place on their own which are only partly controllable by the will consciously, and can become a kind of nemesis, like a state of chronic anxiety or depression. This is all in addition to the many inner conflicts often based on false beliefs and inadequate knowledge, feeding conjectures that are counterproductive and will bring confusion, inefficiency, and a negative influence on happiness and personal progress. This is a kind of trade-off for a life in the physical. You must accept being in the less flexible, less adaptable, and less powerful state of being than your consciousness represents, despite the care taken with pre-life planning and requests for divine assistance along the way. Being in the lead, you will need to do much of the work involved to obtain a mastery of your physical makeup and its expression.
