Icelanders are building a Nordic Neopaganism temple to honor Odin and Thor, which is expected to be ready by the end of 2018. Who or what is behind this resurgence of paganism?

This is not sinister, other than all human misdirections receive encouragement. So this is simply human notions being given a further pat on the back by the Extraterrestrial Alliance to further the impulse and encourage putting it into action. So it is very much akin to other spiritual movements, like the New Age movement and its many offshoots. It is done in answer to an inner need for spiritual expression and connection but is misdirected in being focused on a misunderstanding of the true nature of the Divine and divine origin of life, so this will likely not achieve anything truly worthwhile. The problem with pagan practices is not just being unable to use a more divinely sanctioned term for the Almighty, but the concept is one of having an icon to worship and not a true perspective of the Divine and what it truly represents, let alone one’s standing as a divine extension. So this is a more shallow substitute that will not be rewarding because it will not be connecting to the divine realm and so will not result in any benefit to the participants other than a make-work exercise that will enable them to feel they are doing something worthwhile, even if such is not the case.
