What happened here was he got bogged down in the first attempt. This was not your failing, it was the size of the problem. The difficulty was the tremendous damage done to him by his sojourn in the dark, being constantly barraged and tormented relentlessly. This can sometimes create such damage that a repeated healing session is needed to fully overcome the liabilities that are created. And so this is a good opportunity to see that the spirit rescue process does not come with a 100% guarantee. And so you can consider the implications here and have already had the best take-away message occur to you in thinking about doing a recheck after a time to ensure the passage was successful. The failure rate for a practitioner who is effective in applying the Protocol is small. It is only about 5%, but that still is one in 20 and justifies the added effort to double check. And this will be a blessing for both those on the receiving end and the practitioners themselves, because they will be assured of being of the highest service and will not be making false promises to people about their loved ones and then leaving something undone for which the suffering will continue. And then there will be, in the bargain, a karmic obligation that is unseen but will have consequences. Whenever one takes on an enterprise, there is a karmic obligation to see it through, and that is especially so for would be healers and helpers. So adding this precaution and conveying it to your students would be most appropriate.
