How can personal shortcomings and inevitable limitations in prior understanding and awareness on the part of the channeler be overcome?

This is a difficult standard to meet simply with an expectation. It is a bit like saying: “I will now be larger than myself as I go about this channeling session. I will set myself aside and be a vessel for truth to come forth.” Such are lofty notions but, not only impossible, may actually backfire. It is, in a sense, creating an expectation of limitation and failure, and that intention, even though perhaps not perceived as such, may be acted on as such by the divine realm and the answers that come forth will be paltry as a consequence. So, again, the preparation is to be standing strong and have a love vibration to create a nice climate where there is a willingness, and a desire, and a passion to serve the client requesting information, and to feel blessed in doing so, and to cherish the moments of being in communication and having the privilege of trust bestowed from both parties in the exchange. This is important to recognize that it is a sacred undertaking to begin with and so there is a sacred duty to serve the souls of all involved and, karmically, this will be in play. The channeler must serve the questioner, as well as oneself, and then the others who may be party to the exchange, who may benefit from the information, especially to the degree it is appropriate, accurate, useful, and complete enough to help address a problem and lead to human betterment, or the opposite, as the case may be. If there is misinformation or a misinterpretation that ensues to mislead, misdirect, and leave the questioner on their own, despite the outreach, because something useful was not obtained, the consequences will be on their head to some degree. So this is a serious enterprise, always, and there is a sacred duty involved in any undertaking of this kind to do one’s best, and it is taking on personal responsibility, so if one falters, there will be a karmic consequence. This is no different than a ballplayer stepping up to the plate to take a swing who may be out of practice, feeling unwell, or having a crisis of confidence in the moment, and then does badly when the whole team is depending on them, and the families of the team members, as well as the audience whose stake is less personal but, nonetheless, a part of the value of the enterprise in providing something of quality for them to spend their time on. So these undertakings are real and have real consequences always. One can improve with practice—it is always a learning curve to develop expertise of any kind, as well as confidence, as well as the requisite belief quotients in the divine realm and oneself. To do work of this kind, there must be courage, and dedication, and a willingness to give of the self. Many of the things people most need to know are highly personal, and may well be difficult subjects and unpleasant to be involved with, and of a very sensitive nature, so there is a need for compassion, and understanding, and inner strength as well to be effective in the role without overidentifying with the client’s issues, and so forth. So there are many dimensions to providing a high-quality service to clients of this kind, but there is always a path to excellence, as is true in all of life. The most powerful assistance will come from invoking help from Creator to develop the requisite abilities, and skills, and perspectives needed to be diligent in seeking one’s own healing that will add to effectiveness in this role, as well as cultivating an ongoing partnership with the divine so the outreach to the intended target of the channeling will be swift and sure, and requests for protection around the work will be honored with certainty and effectiveness as well. There is a learning curve here and one must be mindful of this reality—that each person has their own strengths and weaknesses, and the greatest need, all along the way, is to have enough perceptiveness to understand where there is a weak spot that needs to be shored up and strengthened. This will help focus requests for assistance from the divine realm as well, and speed the process of growth and attaining excellence.
