Here, there is a similar mixing of identities and attributions with the name given to godlike beings that were assumed to be gods and that name persisted in the culture for an extensive period, and is still encountered today in various quarters hearkening to earlier eras in the ancient lore on record, such as it is. So as with Yahweh, it is difficult to be sure, when you encounter Yeshua in ancient records, who was being referenced in actuality. But still, you can judge by their fruits to some extent in what is recorded, whether the being in question was truly divine or an imposter.
