Does the troubling laptop that a repair shop turned over to the FBI truly belong to Hunter Biden? Are its contents of photos, videos, and emails authentic and untampered with originals, or is this Russian disinformation as claimed by the media?

Sadly, this laptop does belong to Hunter Biden and its contents have not been manipulated. They are in fact incriminating because crimes took place. They may be of a technical nature from some perspectives, but laws are laws and truth is truth. What is untrue is the dismissal of this entire story as a diversion or a deliberate disinformation campaign to hurt the Democrat candidate in a cynical, foreign power manipulation to interfere with the US election—that entire narrative is wearing thin. It was used falsely against Donald Trump in his election and all through his administration. None of the criticisms of him were truly deserved about his or his party interacting with Russians in any way that was underhanded. This was a false narrative done for political purposes of sabotage and manipulation of public opinion both. The same will happen here unless enough people remain determined to ferret out the truth. What must happen for that to make a difference is for the government and the Department of Justice to take the evidence seriously and mount a thorough and credible investigation as to its significance. At the moment this has not been done, so time will tell what course of events transpire. There is little time remaining prior to the election for this to be much of an influence, so the smokescreen may well work in causing it to be ignored by many supporters of Joe Biden’s candidacy.
