As you know, black tea has been shown scientifically to have benefits with regard to health outcomes and longevity as well, because the latter are cross-correlated. Black tea has a number of substances that are health-promoting. This remains a scientific mystery and we must leave this to future scientists to unravel, but the clues are clearly there and worthy of pursuit to look among the numerous chemical substances contained within tea and the story could be pieced together from systematic exploration with long-term feeding studies in animals, for example. The benefits will be apparent across species in this instance.
