DWQA QuestionsCategory: Healing ModalitiesDoes black tea have significant antiviral activity? If so, how would it rank in effectiveness compared to pomegranate juice? Would it add important additional coverage if added as well to our Antiviral Regimen?

Black tea as well has useful antiviral activities but would need to be ingested as you do by drinking two glasses a day to be a meaningful addition. There are other health benefits of both green tea and black tea that would be obtained in the bargain. You have discussed this with us previously in noting that both kinds of tea are associated with increased longevity for regular tea drinkers, and that is only in part due to antiviral effects.
