This observation simply gets to the heart of the matter, that humans are not always themselves. Sometimes they are reduced to a kind of experiential metaphor where they end up representing a hindered state of being, much like turning into a statue, when there is so much more that people can do with their energy and their intentions to make things happen. The sad reality is that few humans reach their full potential or anything close to it. First of all, it is hard to keep up hard work with a high level of constant energy being supplied without having rest periods—time when one can stand down and relax and regroup and restore the inner reservoirs of energy before entering the fray once again and stirring things up to see what will happen, and make sense of it as an exercise to enrich the perspective.
