Yes, indeed, we can recommend you for the role. This is no rejection of your colleague nor conflict of interest but could in fact be a parallel undertaking, as it would be self-reinforcing. There is much to do here and there is ample material to be explored, and the intentions would not be in conflict nor overlapping in any way. This in fact could be a wider collaboration, as the two investigators could carve out the territory, so to speak, and have an understanding to do certain aspects individually of interest to them personally, and this would be a fine way to proceed.
As for an alternative channeler for him to go his own way other than yourself, we do not wish to designate someone, as this would bestow a certain mantle of authority and we do not wish to have a voice come forward in this way, as this would create the dual burden of having a divine anointment, so to speak, and also an implied pressure for them to assist in this fashion, coming from on high. This is not how we like to do things, as you know. And so it would be far better for him to do his own investigating and vetting of possible candidates. Those we would be happy to give you our opinion and assessment of their worth in the endeavor. That we can do and avoid a complication. We do not wish for this to become a matter for public discussion, as there would potentially be a backlash down the line in some instances. It is never a good idea to create enemies, even low-level enemies. So with these caveats in mind, we are happy to be of help in the way we can. So there are things to think about here for the two of you and we are happy to assist in any way we can to further your cause, as it is truly our cause as well.
