DWQA QuestionsCategory: ReincarnationCathy Byrd herself underwent three separate hypnotic regression sessions, and each time revisited the lifetime of “Mom” Gehrig. The therapist she was working with said she had never witnessed a subject revisit the same past life twice, much less three times. Yet, material from all three sessions was needed to round out and complete the story of the mother and son reincarnation. So none of this appears “haphazard” but rather, is evidently following a divine plan of great importance. What is Creator’s perspective?

We agree entirely with your conclusions here. This indeed is strong evidence of the validity of the scenario she came to understand, and the more she probed and investigated it, found convincing evidence to corroborate that understanding. Here, too, she was responding to divine guidance to put herself under the microscope, so to speak, to be examined and probed for corresponding information that could help sort things out and possibly provide a validation of her role as a mother in the other lifetime when her son was Lou Gehrig and a famous ballplayer. The use of hypnosis has been maligned purposely to diminish the perception of its power and great utility for retrieving memories from the subconscious that are quite accurate, and quite important as well, particularly in allowing trauma resolution work where connecting with a past trauma is the first step in providing a solution. If it is below conscious awareness, it will be missed and never be healed working with a psychotherapist. So hypnosis has a potential powerful role in getting deeper at the underpinnings of what makes people tick, and what keeps them struggling and unhappy beyond their conscious awareness or ability to recall. The deep subconscious mind knows everything and recalls all of the life, and can go out to the akashic records and review all the other lifetimes and worry about them, and those traumas will trigger inner fear, anxiety, and can even create a profound depression if there are many morbid events and the mind worries it will be their fate in the current life. So the mother was at least reaching the upper subconscious of her mind with the adjunct of hypnosis and was able to connect from there with a part of the mind pulling up awarenesses of the past life with her son, and those recollections were accurate and valid in telling a true story about the two of them having been together before.
