Canadian police say a suspect is in custody after at least four people – two of them police officers – were killed in a shooting in the eastern city of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Can you tell us the true cause and motive for this shooting?

It is to further spread pain from episodes involving gun violence, to make people fear things, to doubt their government and law enforcement as capable of maintaining order, and to cement the idea of weapons not belonging in the hands of private citizens.
