DWQA QuestionsCategory: PrayerCan you help encourage my client’s father to transition? He is in a dementia facility, uncommunicative, and is deaf and blind, yet he clings to life. In the past, we have asked for as much healing to be done as will help such individuals. If we ask your help for the client to pass on, can that be actively assisted, with the permission of their higher self?

We have said many times that anything can be requested when interacting with us through prayer or healing requests. We cannot guarantee fulfilling everyone's dreams, but without specific instructions from the human side, we must err on the side of caution and do little or nothing because we are constrained by our own rules of engagement, to not be leading, and must leave people to their own devices far too often for their own good. We always take the long view, as we know that eventually you will be back with us, but that can seem like an eternity if a person or a lost soul in limbo is suffering. There is nothing to prevent us from undertaking a crash program at the request of humans acting as an advocate for an individual like this, who cannot speak for themselves, to be rescued from living in such an extreme state of limitation. There must still be permission given by the higher self at a soul level, so this is not to convey the meaning, "People can wish their relatives dead and we will see to it." This is always a cooperative process when we engage with the physical realm in any capacity. There must always be an advocate seeking our assistance and the belief and intention to support the energy for us to use in answering the call. We see many times that when life is no longer serving an individual with rewards, it is better to come home than prolong things beyond the point when they are productive, useful, and making a contribution to the soul journey. There are many difficulties, and even severe suffering, that serve a high purpose when worked through, but when people reach what is, in effect, a dead end, there is little to be gained from being in that state indefinitely, so we will do all we can to move things forward on his behalf.
