This is why she feels things so keenly, especially when even by human standards, things do not seem to be working, and she has difficulty coping with life. This makes her whole life seem dubious and unrewarding, and it is past pain that makes this so, and this creates a kind of illusion where the dissatisfaction with life is really an inner disharmony more so than the fact anything going on is all that bad or negative, but it does cast a shadow and make life unrewarding because when one is in pain, nothing will feel right, nothing will feel good, and nothing will bring much happiness. This is all the more reason for healing to be done and the outreach continued to accomplish as much as possible, as soon as possible.
