Can walk-ins be forced on a person by the spirit meddlers or extraterrestrial spirits, causing them to leave the body? If so, are they likely to remain in limbo?

As the story of this client illustrates, a walk-in scenario can be forced on someone if there is sufficient leverage to weaken the person being targeted to make them want to flee. That can set things in motion to make the connection to the body grow very tenuous. And if this is compounded by even worse treatment, once the soul exits the body only to arrive in worse circumstances, being in limbo and tormented heavily through endless assaults by demonic beings, this may well be enough to make that spirit give up, and it might be allowed by the higher self by honoring that decision. After all, such an intrusion and manipulation will not usually be karmically appropriate. Everyone has rough edges, everyone has some karmic liabilities, but the presence of the interlopers is a kind of wildcard. They worsen things for many innocent victims. So what is needed is someone from the human side in a position to recognize what is happening and ask for the divine intervention that is needed, but which the human spirit in limbo cannot summon, lacking the wherewithal to even have a spiritual notion, even the possibility of rescue, because they are undergoing such a severe brainwashing through endless torment. So having this done against someone's will, likely will result in them being in an extremely weakened state and likely to remain in limbo without a human advocate to speak for them and request divine assistance.
